The Mousetrap Project: The Wall

Welcome to The Mousetrap Project.

The iPhone that you stare at all the time has roughly the same dimensions as the back of a mousetrap.

The screens which have taken over our lives contain multitudes; they contain the landscapes of our imaginations and our ken.  We spend hours staring into these devices, trying to see our ultimate horizon line.  As far as the eye can see, we are lost in this screen, specifically tailored to our personal world.

These Mousetraps are made of wood and enamel and depict their own landscapes.  These are modest materials; designed as killing machines.  Each represents a unique world, and offers a glimpse into the collective when assembled en masse.

Below is the current installation, 150 on a wall. 15 Canes of 10 Mousetraps each.
